The FirstInstant Account is savings product designed for the unbanked and underbanked to enhance financial inclusion.

  • Minimum opening balance of N1,000
  • Minimum operating balance of N500
  • Simplified account opening form.
  • Mandatory issuance of debit card
  • Regular savings interest rate applies.
  • Can also be opened as a Salary Account.
  • Operated primarily via the alternative channels e.g. POS, ATM, mobile phone etc.
  • All over-the-counter withdrawals attract a flat charge of N150
  • Free e-mail alert; SMS alert at a fee
